Daan Van Kampenhout from the Netherlands: Bellingham, WA , August 11-13, 2007, (see flyer and registration for details)

I am happy for us to be with Daan again in this exploration of ancestral wisdom and healing. I feel especially grateful for his return as we struggle with the Iraq war. Daan’s unique blend of shamanic prayer, drumming, and chanting, with the family constellation approach awakens and nurtures us toward integration of individual and collective histories. For many of the 40-50 who participated in the 2005 & 2006 circles, the most frequent comment was: “He’s coming back, isn’t he?”

All are welcome at this three day seminar. We will all be in the ancestral field together, guided by Daan’s prayerful attunement to ancestral needs, wisdom, and strength. Whether you have ever experienced constellation or shamanic healing approaches…are a new or seasoned healing practitioner…our time together promises to be a deepening of connection with spirited healing.

Cost: Before June 30: $325

Cost: Before June 30 registration less $125.00 deposit $200.00

I also invite you to tell friends in the Rocky Mountain region about Daan’s workshop in Boulder, CO, August 18-19. Please contact Jude Blitz at 303-530-1896 or jude@livingartsfoundation.com for more information.

Interfaith Creation Festival

Although this Seattle event has already taken place (May 31-June 3), I invite you to visit www.interfaithcreationfest.org. No matter how we pray or where we come from, this event reminds us of our shared Mother Earth inheritance.

"In four days of talks, worship, music, and dialogue, Christians, Jews, and Muslims unite(d) over a common concern for the earth. But it won't end there; organizers see the event as a springboard for a year of action," shares Ruth Mulligan, Chair of the Interfaith Creation Festival steering committee.

I am grateful to have led the workshop, Ancestral Wisdom for Creation Stewards, at this Festival. We are all unified in Spirit as descendants from our mothers, fathers, grandparents, and all ancestors. Without the groundedness of our roots, we don't know our rightful place in the flow of Creation. Through ceremony and prayer, we are invited to restore connection with the widom and home countries of the generations who came before us.

First Monday Fairhaven Introduction

The First Monday of the Month Introductory Evening is at the Fairhaven Library on Monday, June 4, 7-9pm. The July Fairhaven Library Introduction will be Tuesday, July 3, 7-9pm. August 6, September 3 (Labor Day), October 1, November 5, December 3. All are welcome. Donations gratefully accepted.

Weekly Fincayra Circle

Emphasis in these circles is on embodied, conscious integration of our individual and collective soul. Combination of “traditional” constellations, ancestral prayer and meditation, and stone ceremonies. Summer sunsets over the ocean invite us into connection with the Ones who came before us.

June circle: June 5, 12, 19, 26. All are invited; drop-in format continues. Cost is $25. People with no previous experience with this approach invited as first time guests.

July circle: Four week, closed group with same people meets July 10, 17, 24, 31. Pre-registration and deposit for July circle is required; e-mail famconwest@yahoo.com to do so by June 30. Group size: 10-15 people. (Space is limited.)

Time for all circles: 6:30pm-9:15pm.

Location: Fincayra, a beautiful retreat setting on a bluff overlooking Bellingham bay. The gifts of this natural setting remind us that the same sun setting over the ocean does so over our whole human family.

Cost: $100.
